Protein Rich Grilled Paneer Salad Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup paneer, cubed
  • 1 cup of cherry tomatoes halved, or 1 medium sized tomato sliced
  • 1 to 2 green chillies
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves(cilantro)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice, add as per taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon of roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 chili powder or cayenne pepper or black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt, add as per taste
  • Cooking oil of your choice

DIRECTIONS

  1. Firstly, cut the paneer into cubes. Heat oil in a pan. Add the paneer cubes and stir fry on a high heat till they turn slightly brown on all sides. Remove the paneer cubes in a bowl and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add the chopped capsicum and fry till the capsicums are cooked but still crunchy. Then add in the chopped onions, green chillies and tomatoes. Fry for a few seconds on high heat and remove from heat.
  3. Add these vegetables to the cooked paneer cubes. Finally, add lemon juice, finely chopped coriander leaves(cilantro), salt, cumin powder, black pepper powder and toss.
    Warm paneer salad is now ready to be served.
